Event attendees want to know what's going on, when it's happening, and where to go - but less than half of survey respondents report using an app or mobile site when planning a visit to a festival or seasonal event. The event industry is perfectly positioned to benefit from new ways to use UX principles to engage their customers in new ways.

Winter Wonderland is an annual Christmas festival that has traditionally not leveraged mobile technology. Pain points for customers included confusion on when activities were occurring, how to book and pay for experiences, and waiting in long lines to perform basic functions that could be handled by a mobile app.
