The problem? 50% of families meet with their child's BCBA (behavioral therapist supervisor) less than one week per month to review goal progress and identify trends and areas of improvement. 75% of families do not keep track or keep any record of their child's goals outside of therapy sessions.
For this project, the aim was to use the basic guiding principles of the National Wellness Institute to create an app that assists in helping families achieve positive outcomes in their children's behavioral and social health by allowing caregivers to log incidents, mental states, and to interface digitally with mental health providers in real time.
Our clients' families are not feeling
empowered because they have little
engagement with their care team. If we can
solve this problem, it would impact families
positively by giving them agency, coping
strategies as well as parenting skills tailored
to their needs. It would also benefit our
business by having a product that is a
game-changer.
PRIMARY USERS
They are parents, guardians, or families who need a way to keep track of a child's therapy goals and daily behaviors.
SECONDARY USERS
Providers (therapists) who use the data that families put into the app and create treatment plans. Helpful for planning the next session.
